Practical details

  • 304 stainless steel body. Food-grade 18/8 steel for everyday kitchen use.
  • Removable filter. Lift it out to clear trapped crumbs and wash the mesh.
  • Handle and pouring spout. Hold the pot securely and direct the oil as you pour.

How to use

  1. Cool. Allow the oil to cool. Start with a clean, completely dry pot.
  2. Strain. Fit the mesh and pour slowly, leaving space at the top.
  3. Cover. Replace the lid and store used oil separately from fresh oil.

Use and care

How should I use leftover oil?

Filtering removes crumbs; it does not restore degraded oil. Avoid repeated frying. FSSAI advises that oil used once for frying may be filtered for curry preparation and consumed within a day or two. Discard degraded oil, and never pour used oil down the sink. Read FSSAI's household guidance.

How do I clean the filter?

Lift out the mesh, remove trapped crumbs and wash the parts. Dry everything completely before adding oil again.
